Game Party at the Leopolds' House

Dearest friends,

I sincerely hope that you will be able to come to the game party at our house this Friday evening from 5:00 to 9:00. This will be a pop-in sort of affair. Come when you can and play what you can. We will have light snacks that will remain downstairs. Unfortunately, we cannot offer much in the way of child care for this event – budgets are tight this year. So, if you have little ones, they may need to stay home with a sitter. This promises to be a really fun time for all. Please bring a game that you love or play one of ours. We will have five tables running, so, with the bystanders who are eating, that is enough to accommodate lots of folks – who we hope to have! The breakdown of games is as follows:

Living Room – Pool Table (various pocket table games)
Dining Room – Dining Room Table (party/social/trivia/games you bring)
Downstairs Bedroom – Coffee Table (card games)
Upstairs Gameroom – Game Table 1 (light Euro-style games)
Upstairs Bedroom – Game Table 2 (heavy Euro-style games)

Whew! That is a lot of potential for lots of games. As I mentioned, we will have light snacks and drinks, but probably not enough for dinner, so eat early before you come, or snack so that you can have a late supper.

Please reply to this posting (at leopold@stpaulschatt.org) to let us know that you might be coming and for directions.

Yours in Christ,
Bob

P.S. What – might you ask – is a "Euro" game? See here.

P.P.S. I put up a couple of pictures here.
